Island Dreams Yacht Services is moving its office base from Martin’s Marina in Mount Hartman Bay to Le Phare Bleu Marina and Resort.
This is a new development located at little further East along the South Coast of Grenada - opposite Calivigny Island at the entrance to Port Egmont.
The Marina is designed for cruising yachts and will offer all the facilities you would expect of a full service marina - wi-fi, webcams, swimming pool, showers and toilets, restaurant, car rental, bar and mini-market.
The location is rural – about 10 minutes drive from St George’s and about 15 from Grand Anse, Spiceland Mall etc.
A number of other marine businesses are to be based there from June 1st – Palm Tree Marine (mechanical and electrical engineering), The Canvas Shop (marine canvas work and North Sails agents) and Carib Marine (salvage and commercial diving).
Mount Hartman Bay and Hog Island Bay are easily accessible by dinghy from Le Phare Bleu and we will still offer our services in those locations, and continue to look after boats in Martin’s Marina. We also continue to use Spice Island Marine for haulouts and storage out of the water (see www.spiceislandmarine.com).
We are very excited about our new base – especially the fact the owners are keen sailors who understand the needs of yacht owners.
In terms of storage, long term dockage will offer absent owners the security of a marina location, and make maintenance easier.
Where owners have opted for other storage options, we can put the boat on the dock in the Marina ready for owner arrival if required.
Our office is under construction, so we are currently best contacted by phone or email. For more information on the marina and construction progress see www.lepharebleu.com
