GUARDIANAGE

Our standard weekly guardianage checks cover the following (where applicable):

  • Water ingress - salt and fresh
  • Insects
  • Battery voltage levels
  • Chafe on lines and position of chafe gear
  • Proximity of other anchored or moored vessels
  • Operation of bilge pumps
  • Mildew
  • Chafe or damage to canvas
  • Any other causes for concern

The boat will also be aired for one day each week, or we use silica nodamp dehumidifier crystals.

Additional checks can be included and we run engines & generators, pump heads and operate systems should you wish.  We spend some time with you before you leave covering all aspects of the operation of the essential systems, batteries, location of second anchors, bilge pumps etc.

A monthly Boat Check Report is produced each month, which can be accessed via the Client Login section of this website.  This details the checks undertaken and the status of the boat and systems including battery voltage levels each week.  Any concerns or queries will be raised with you by email to establish action to be taken.

Our services are recognized by leading insurers such as Admiral and Pantaenius.

STORM AND HURRICANE PREPARATIONS

All boats under our guardianage will be prepared appropriately by us should a Storm or Hurricane Watch be set for Grenada.  We may take some precautions at an earlier stage, or if we expect high winds - for example removing canvas.  We will discuss appropriate measures with you when we set up a guardianage contract.
