Island Dreams Inc. is a Limited Company Registered in Grenada, and established in1999.   It is solely owned by Mark and Anita Sutton.

The Island Dreams office is located at Martin’s Marina, Secret Harbour, Mount Hartman Bay.

Mark Sutton has been an avid sailor since childhood.  Family sailing in Dorset fueled his imagination, and after time pursuing other interests he decided to become involved in the marine business and undertook a Boatbuilding Course at the International Boatbuilding College in Lowestoft in 1992.

After working as a shipwright in Italy and Maine and with the Jubilee Sailing Trust in the UK, he bought a boat in Southern Spain and sailed back to the UK singlehanded.  He undertook a number of deliveries and took his RYA Yachtmaster Course in 1996.

Anita took up Tall Ship Sailing aboard The Lord Nelson run by the Jubilee Sailing Trust in the UK, and began sailing yachts when she met Mark on board Sail Training Ship ‘The Lord Nelson’ in 1995.

In 1998, Mark and Anita left Southampton in the UK to sail across the Atlantic via Spain, Portugal, Morocco, the Canaries and the Cape Verde Islands on their own boat.

After cruising for a period, and then running a charter boat they settled in Grenada in 2001 where they live with their two sons aged 4 and 5.
